10.30am to 12.30pm, Royal National Institute for Deaf People (RNID) will be providing free drop-in sessions on the second Friday of the month, no appointment needed.
RNID will provide information on hearing loss and tinnitus, how to do a hearing check, basic repairs and maintenance of NHS hearing aids (every 4 – 6 months advised), and how to access support and services.

In partnership with Tinderbox Orchestra, members of Craigmillar Library of all ages can borrow musical instruments for free, just like you borrow a book. We have a wide range of instruments including saxophones, trombones, clarinets, flutes, keyboards, accordions, guitars, ukuleles, violins and cellos.
All our instruments have been donated by our community. If you have an instrument gathering dust, please consider donating it to us.
We offer a musician in residence to provide free tutoring for people under 25 years old. Please ask us for current term dates.
